Can anyone help a luddite please? How can I easily verify a fake Mulberry?

I was given a Mulberry travel wallet, pouch/ clutch bag type thing and a handbag a few years ago by an ex.
Is there a quick way to spot a fake, I want to try and sell them but I haven a clue about hand bags or designer stuff. I mean really, not a Scooby

If you imagine I've just fell to earth level please I googled and tried to check the stitching but could I bugger see it, even with readers on!

I've emailed the auction place to see if it's something they deal with.
I dug out some bits of jewellery I daren't wear. Nothing elaborate but deffo not cheap. He never gave shite, bless him. Shame so much of it was impractical clothes or I'd be quids in.

The bottom has fallen out of the pre-loved Mulberry market . I have been buying vintage Mulberry bags for years now and have never seen any at an auction ! Hermes yes , but not Mulberry .

Also......depending on the age and model of what you have....it may not have a serial disc or made in label. Mulberry do not authenticate in store and there is no database for serial numbers. Resale is excellent on certain models but as long as you have no missing bits ( nowhere near the value without care cards, tags and dust bag)

Sorry. Just seen photos. Can you take a pic of both sides of the Bayswater front plate and the serial disc both sides and the made in label. I can tell you instantly.

Just to let you know that the bag that you you have sent pics of is 100% genuine. On the downside, whilst Oak Bayswaters are still the most sought after bags on resale. This tooled leather version is not as popular and resale value isnt that high.

@thequeef definitely more than £27 but if you look at the recent sold listings on Ebay, most are in the £100-£200 bracket. A couple in excellent condition did go for £300 and £400. Don't know if this link will work: ebay

Posted too soon....there are a few really good buy/sell groups on Facebook that don't charge. They'd be a good place to start.

I have the mulberry oak purse that I bought 2 years ago
Mines gone quite dark as it’s used every day
The buttons that hold the purse together all have Mulberry engraved on it
It also has mulberry engraved on the middle zip pouch
I paid about £300 for mine in house of Fraser

If only I'd known Justme you could have had a set for that price, already bedded in and I could have had a catio.
All the possible metalwork is engraved even the studs have the tree on. That's why I was hoping it was real.
It's lovely but not practical for me....I'm more shameless chic than chanel

I've recently sold a few old Mulberry bags of mine to free up some cash, I got £120 and &160 for a Carter camera bag and a mini Alexa. One had a fair amount of damage though, and both smaller bags than a Bayswater. I'd get selling them asap as people will buy them as Christmas gifts, especially if you still have the boxes.

It comes out for funerals weddings and christenings
I think in 1 years I’ve used it maybe 4 times
It’s to bloody heavy for everyday use and not big enough for all the shit I want to carry
