Full coverage foundation

I have pale, almost 50 year old skin, which suddenly seems to be accumulating lines at an increasing pace and which needs full coverage.

I've been using Clarins Everlasting for years but can no longer find the colour I need so assume they're phasing it out.

Any recommendations? I never used to have dry skin but everything now soaks in a lot faster so I guess that's changing.

I was going to say Doublewear but I wouldn't go for that if your skin is dry or if you have fine lines- IMO it makes even the youngest skin look like it's been caked on.
What about a buildable one? I am 54 and currently using the N7 Hydraluminous- love it. Miles better than most high end I've tried and the colour is perfect (am pale, and have Calico)
Or maybe try a primer if your skin is soaking up the foundation.

I second that whilst Doublewear is definitely high coverage, it’s not really suitable for dry skin. I use Huda Faux Filter. It’s massively high coverage and the best foundation I’ve ever used.

Thanks for the recommendations. Will have a look. Was going to try Doublewear so will steer clear.

You could try double wear light? It's more forgiving on dry skin than the original version.

You could also try a setting spray on the top that adds moisture as well as setting - anything that mentions glowing or dewy finish should do the trick.

I used the hydra luminous no7, it was fantastic apart from not full coverage

Nars do a nice range of pale shades

I like Bobbi Brown Long Wear Foundation SPF 15. Really good. Am 57 😊
