Leggings for short people?

Hi, looking for recommendations for leggings - my height is 5ft and cannot find anything suitable! Everything I try is too long in length and they bunch up. No luck with petite sizes either! Anyone at all with a similar problem who has had some better luck finding suitable ones?

im 5ft and just ordered leather leggings and jeans from mint velvet and the fitted as if id had them altered.
it's less to do with height and more inside leg length.
Could you try cropped leggings?that sometimes works for me too.

CatyaPurella · 05/11/2019 16:05

Not Hush...they are ridiculously long (& baggy)

MrsHoneybadger · 05/11/2019 20:39

@Karcheer did you order the short length from MV? I'm 5'3".

Dizzywizz · 05/11/2019 20:40

Petite from next

Karcheer · 05/11/2019 20:48

@MrsHoneybadger yes, I do have long legs (proportionally).

Confused16 · 05/11/2019 23:55

Have tried cropped leggings from
numerous places but they either end up being ankle length and hence a loose fitting from the ankle or too short i.e just under the knee!

The jeans from MV that fit you well Karcheer which ones did you order?

Also five foot, I recently bought leggings from Marks & Spencer and they're a good fit. Which surprised me, because Marks always used to measure big.

IcouldbutIwont · 06/11/2019 00:23

I'm 5ft 2ins and really struggle with jeans and trousers, use to buy Next petite a lot but find even those are too long now and I'm pretty sure I have shrunk so their jeans must be getting longer

Synecdoche · 06/11/2019 00:26

Coming from this the other way I always find Tesco leggings really short on me, so might be a option for shorter legged people!

Karcheer · 06/11/2019 18:23

@Confused16 the Maryland ones. There’s 15% off with code STUDIO15 if that’s helpful.

Spaceman101 · 06/11/2019 18:28

Marks and Spencer fitted me well and I'm 5ft 1

Confused16 · 06/11/2019 23:32

Thanks ladies for the additional recommendations. I think my legs must be shorter proportionally because M&S were too long for me when I tried them a couple of months ago (in the short length!).....does anyone know if the Tesco ones are shorter than M&S? Thanks for the Maryland rec and code Karcheer!

I'm 4'10. I find that Boden cropped leggings are about right on me, or M&S petite options. All the other petite ranges I have tried are too long for me.

joangray38 · 07/11/2019 04:32

I am 4ft 9 and by river island petite leggings via ASOS

billandbenflowerpotmen1 · 07/11/2019 05:38

Sainsbury's Tu do short length leggings. If you buy the super soft ones ( around £10) they're much better quality than the pack of two

princessTiasmum · 07/11/2019 15:01

I got some lovely ones from M&S they are a lovely fit, just right for me and mine have a tweedy look, but they have a good selection. M&S isthe only place i can any to fit without shortening
Their petite range is much better than it used to be,and all in one section, from £17/99
