Bras for elderly mum please

My mum (81) is finding her bras too narrow. She needs a 42, she reckons.
She is waiting for a hip replacement so can’t get out to the shops.

Can anyone recommend a brand of bras or two for me to look at?

Thank you.

M&S soft bras?

DobbyTheHouseElk · 03/11/2019 19:53

T337020 is the M&S code.

Goes up to a 44.

Will she let you measure her? What dress size is she? Might be that she needs a bigger cup rather than a bigger back size

She may let me.....
It’s part of the whole loss of independence thing.....

My experience of Debenhams bra fittings was very positive, private and not pushy on sales. Perhaps you can go there or M&S and make it into a positive thing?

Try BooB or bust online to measure

Thankyou everyone

My gran needed new bras & she just went for her clothing size and got zip up front bras online. She’s 86 and it’s much easier for her ☺️

Triumph has many comfortable bras suitable for elderly ladies.

somebrightmorning · 04/11/2019 18:01

ah, I was trying to remember the name Triumph.

I will ask mum how doing up at the back is for her.

thank you.
