Stop my jumpers bobbling please

Just that...all my knitwear goes bobbly. I use a little comb to remove the bobbles but they just keep happening. Doesn’t seem to matter what the knitwear is made of either, the only things that don’t bobble in me are cotton and merino wool. Please help! Do I need to stop using fabric conditioner, iron the wretched things or accept that I will always be a bit bobbly?

I don't know about stopping jumpers going bobbly (hand wash them?) but you need one of these in your life. They're like magic!

Don't lie down in them, wash them inside out... there must be other things you can do...

NotquitewhatImeant · 03/11/2019 21:09

Oh I do! The hours of bobble combing it will save me...

Washing them inside out seems to help...

Sorry about the double post Hmm

I do wash them inside out, although not by hand. They do it even when new though. I don’t think I even get the chance to lie down in them. Maybe it’s me?
