Anyone not gone back for the microblading touch up

Hi

I had my eyebrows microbladed for the first time on Wednesday. I had spent months researching and carefully considering the decision, believing it would make my life easier not having to even them out with pencil and fill in patches on every single day.. To cut a long story short It got to the procedure taking place and I had a bit of a panic and meltdown in the salon. I had paid the deposit and the lady doing my brows had drawn on the shape and applied the numbing cream. She was just about to start the procedure and began telling me about the risk of the pigment going blue or red and the scarring. I wasn't really aware of this despite doing lots of research and reading. I felt like doing a runner out the salon there and then and nearly did... Part of me now thinks maybe I should have just pied it there and then. She told me I was over worrying and that these are risks but very unlikely...

Anyway I decided to go through with it thinking if I hate it I just don't go back for the touch up and let them fade...

Has anyone had microblading done and not gone back for the touch up appointment?

Has anyone had any experience of letting microblading fade naturally? Can you cover it up easily with make up?

I am 10 days in and they have disappeared but hoping they get better.

You haven’t said whether you like them or not?

I quite like the shape and colour but now I have had them done I regret it. It was really stupid of me to go through with it I should have just walked out when I had the chance and let the salon keep my deposit.

I am scared about what they are going to fade into. Smudgey and a weird colour. So in my head I am thinking let them fade now before getting more pigment put in even deeper into the skin. Once you go back for the touch up the colour is locked in more firmly for a longer period of time.

I loved mine straight after they were done. But am gutted they faded, but understand this part of the healing process. I am definitely going for my follow up.

Have they faded a lot/fully faded? I want mine to fade so I am hoping if I don't go to the touch up and the pigment isn't implemented to deeply I might be able to get away with covering up fading areas with brow pencil/concealer for up to a year then not having to worry anymore

I’m going for the touch up tomorrow. I absolutely hated them at first but now like them. But the colour has faded a lot in a month and I still use a pencil to define them so I definitely want this second treatment. For me I’m not sure if I’ll have future treatments after this because now I know where my brows are supposed to be and can follow what’s left of the remaining microblading to fill them in with a pencil that’s a big plus. So far it’s ended bad brow days as I had no idea after years of over plucking where they were actually meant to be.

If you like the shape what about having the second treatment and seeing how you feel when they do fade. You could then decide to use a brow product over what remains of the microblading or get it re-done?

@charelizawood555 i know this is an old post. I’m in same situation and thinking the same as you. Can I ask what you decided? Did you get the second treatment and if not, did the colour fade ok?
