Can I wear these boots with anything

Hello!

I'm looking for some boots that I can wear with most things.

I'm absolutely rubbish with clothes and I've been trying to find decent boots for ages. What do you think of these

Thank you

they are a bit 2007 but not too bad. I would get black boots if you want them to go with everything.

Visually they will break your profile at an odd spot. What is your build like and what type of clothes do you wear?

meepmoop · 02/11/2019 21:41

I'm 5'8, size 10/12. I'm slim but I have got very broad shoulders so upside down cone shaped.

I tend to wear jeans and a patterned top, usually slightly baggy or floaty floral dresses with or without tights

They do a longer version if they would look better

how do you feel about ankle boots? Chelsea or biker style?

saltysally · 02/11/2019 21:44

At your height wear whichever ones you want. I personally like the second pair better

And with your figure you definitely need to try on some other styles. Go to John Lewis and book a personal shopper. It's free.

saltysally · 02/11/2019 21:45

I think the shoes are a bit clumpy for dresses

nevernotstruggling · 02/11/2019 21:47

The longer ones are better. If you wear jeans then black looks very dated. I think these boots are very versatile. There are some lush coloured tights around in white stuff and similar that would look amazing with these if you want to wear a dress

HundredMilesAnHour · 02/11/2019 21:51

They're both horrible (sorry OP). With your height and size you can carry off much nicer boots.

myidentitymycrisis · 02/11/2019 23:04

They are synthetic and clumpy

Notcontent · 02/11/2019 23:23

That’s a lot of money for non-leather shoes.

happycamper11 · 03/11/2019 09:52

If you want something that goes with everything I'd go for a shorter boot or Chelsea boots. And agree at that price you could get something leather.

Snog · 03/11/2019 17:20

I'm not sure that mid calf length boots look good on anyone.
Can you find some outfit inspiration on Pinterest OP?

CharitySchmarity · 03/11/2019 21:22

I like the style of the longer ones a lot, and they'd go with most things I wear, but I'd be wary of synthetic uppers, unless you can't wear leather for ethical reasons. I once bought synthetic boots by mistake and they started to blister and delaminate when they got really wet.
