Not quite as bright in real life but still quite lively looking.

Wonderful. Exactly what time will you be sacrificing a lamb and dancing and chanting around a camp fire, draped in rosemary twigs and hemp leaves?

Myshitisreal · 01/11/2019 19:03

Definitely not to my taste but you do you 👍

AnyFucker · 01/11/2019 19:05

Not for me but they look fun

Pinkvici22 · 01/11/2019 19:15

I immediately thought Eskimo but whatever makes you happy! Who cares what others think!

Zenithbear · 01/11/2019 19:18

You will have to buy a tambourine too.
I would have loved them in my teen hippy days but not anymore.

DontCallMeShitley · 01/11/2019 19:35

You have pretty much said what I was thinking Grin.

I think it is my inner hippy trying to get out.

Thing is, I don't wear anything bright, ever but also am not conventional, I just love the way they look. Was hoping someone might tell me they would look great with all black and some interesting jewellery. They remind me of a pair of Warmbats I had a few years ago.

So tired of plain boots and aching feet in the winter. Might join a commune so I can wear them.

(Will look at them for a while longer before returning them).

Are they really worse than Uggs?

OP posts:
AnyFucker · 01/11/2019 21:16

I still wear Uggs

EatenByDinosaurs · 01/11/2019 21:20

I love them, go for it! Life is far too short not to wear the things you love.

I don't tend to wear bright colours as they don't suit me, but I think they'd look great with blue jeans and a black/dark top Smile

Collision · 01/11/2019 21:21

I’m actually relieved they are out of stock

Bluejeantreefrog · 01/11/2019 22:03

I saw some in tk Maxx last week, quite a few pairs. I thought they were slippers at first!

DontCallMeShitley · 01/11/2019 22:18

I like them as slippers. Seems to be a lot of them sold. Maybe to people that hate Chelsea boots and clunky heels.

Looks like another year of DMs and similar for me, and I have some new slippers.

I quite like them but I don’t know what I’d wear them with... not all black for sure!

namechange4052 · 02/11/2019 10:37

Not my usual style at all but I actually really like them!

RacheyCat · 02/11/2019 12:29

I saw these yesterday and really liked them!

I'd wear with woolly tights and jumper dresses, or with skinny pants tucked in, with a longline cardi.

My inner hippy is also my outer hippy, so.

dontgobaconmyheart · 02/11/2019 14:22

Not a fan, and surely would ruin any outfit. Maybe as slippers....they're a bit Brighton Lanes meets Hotter shoes.

BBBear · 02/11/2019 14:33

They’re the kind of boots I love but would never buy because I know it’s just my inner hippy trying to make herself known.

I REALLY want them though... help!

Ellapaella · 02/11/2019 18:53

'they're a bit Brighton Lanes meets Hotter shoes' Grin This made me chuckle,

DontCallMeShitley · 03/11/2019 00:52

Well, they reminded me of the knitted patterned dresses and long fringed cardigans I used to wear in Brighton, so Brighton Lanes seems appropriate, not so sure about the Hotter bit because they look like some of the (much loved by some) sheepskin boots I still see for sale.

Brighton is full of life and colour, and art.
