Faux leather leggings

Where are the best ones??

I ordered the ASOS ones recommended on here but they were a little saggy
Ordered wine from next which were hideous

Anyone bought any nice well fitting ones?

My topshop ones arrived today and I’m really happy with them. They’re really thick with a fleece lining and side zip. Looks like they’re back in stock online too.

I have 4 pairs of Spanx leather style leggings
The speckled ones in black
Black
Dark navy Blue
Bronze
I also have 3 pairs of the jean style leggings as well
They are expensive but they look absolutely amazing
They make me look at least a dress size smaller and my waist looks tiny and flat and my ass looks good as well 😂 and my DH loves me wearing them and he is normally pretty ignorant of my clothes

They are incredibly comfortable and don’t ride up or down when you sit down
And they do not sag or go baggy and I literally live in mine.

I bought the ASOS ones as well and they don’t even come close to the Spanx ones . You can absolutely tell the difference

I wear mine with ankle boots and knee high boots and long jumpers
I want the leather Cameo ones next but that’s going to be a Xmas present I think

What size Spanx would you suggest for a UK10 (well a 9 really!)? I'd automatically always go for a small, but their own website says a small is a UK 6-8 (US 2-4) and a medium 10-12? I'm tall if that makes a difference.

I wear a medium in both the leather style and the jean style ones and they fit perfectly
They do look small but once you have them on they fit like a glove
When they are new you might struggle a bit to get them on so you have to pull them up quite hard
They are quite high on the waist but it gives me an incredibly flat stomach and my stomach is quite flat to start with

I was sent a small by mistake in the jean style one and I couldn’t even get them over my thigh 😂
Ive probably spent over £700 on these leggings this year and threw out all my cheap and nasty ones with pleasure

Whenever I wear these friends and family without fail ask me if I have lost weight 😂

Itsjustmee thank you. I'm the same height but 57kg. I've just ordered the medium as the small wasn't available so I suspect they may be too big.

TopShop ones are the best I've tried. Great quality. Also, they have brown ones that looks great as well

Well I just can't get on with the MV ones so they're going back, I definitely need the Spanx support 🙈 @Itsjustmee that is an impressive collection I'm very jealous! I hadn't realised there were two versions of the black, could you take pics to compare if you get chance please? Which do you prefer? Think my wine ones would be classed as "speckled".

I've been eyeing some of the Spanx jeggings on eBay so might give them a go. I can never find jeans that I like so maybe they are the answer!

You guys are so bad for my bank balance. I bought the Spanx ones. Oh my god.

On a budget note, I also got the DP petite Frankie Coated ones and they are pretty awesome. No idea how they will wash but I love the fit. Also with some of my jumpers I prefer when there are pockets so I’ll keep both.

You have the regular black Spanx faux leather leggings they are completely smooth that’s the ones that most people buy I think

The other ones that I have are sort of black speckled crocodile effect if that makes sense bit rough to feel you can’t really notice until up close

Then you have the Moto faux leather leggings they look sort of like bikers leggings slightly quilted /padded around the knees thighs ( I don’t have these)
The very dark navy blue and bronze ones are just the same as the black ones and smooth no texture to them
The jean ones are really nice I have indigo blue black and the indigo blue with the fake rips in them.
I want the white ones but I don’t think they would stay very white for long
I also have the Spanx mini shorts that I wear if I’m wear a short dress and want to be decent 😂

I just wash all of mine on 30 degrees and then let them dry naturally

@Itsjustmee I think I do know what you mean thanks that's helpful. My wine ones look like this which I think is what you mean by the speckled ones...(pictured with my armchair as it amused me that I matched it) 🙈

These are the other ones that I have

The ones you have are the same as my black navy and bronze faux leggings They are smooth but there is a smooth sort texture to them as well but not noticeable

But the faux croc ones are more obvious if that makes sense and you can only get these in black at the moment . You can see the difference
Although the American Spanx site has some very nice bronze leopard skin type ones that I have my eye on 😂😂
I bought my bronze ones from there as they didn’t have them in stock in the uk
Can you tell I’m a bit addicted to them 😂

I'm tempted to try the Spanx Moto ones , being 5.10 I'm wondering about the knees section being on the knees if you know what I mean ! I can't find an inside leg measurement , not bothered if a little short as probably will wear with boots but don't want them half mast! I'm a 12 /14 depending which shop and 33 waist in Levi's , no really defined hips to speak of 11stone 9 at present , if not moto same questions for plain ones thanks

If you can see last post with eBay link ignore it , didn't realise they were only half leather look ! Have asked for it to be removed

My top shop ones have been delivered but I've been away for a few days
Can't wait to get home and try them on

@itsaldramarama I've only tried a plain pair and we are a very different shape so this may not be helpful but I'm 5' 4" (on a good day!) and have to turn up around an 1.5" to get them to hit on the ankle - @Itsjustmee may be able to help as has way more than me!

I think I have tried on every pair of leather leggings ever made this year and the perfect fitting pair are £20 from Mango which I bought on ASOS. Will try to find a link

I have a small waist big hips and bum 😂 and the medium fit me perfectly
I don’t have the moto ones but I pretty much have all the other ones in faux leather and jean style ones
I’m 5ft 6 and there is a bit at the bottom that rolls up but I only wear my leggings with boots so that doesn't matter to me

If you get them from next they do next day collection from the shop
