Hoop earrings?

I love them and always have but been told they look "cheap" and "Chavy"

I think they look fabulous. Do you wear them? Should I wear them?

Usually with jeans, band t-shirt, lob hair cut, trainers/flats

How big? I wear them - but not huge ones.

If you love them, wear them. Plus if it helps they are on trend at the moment, especially gold hoops.

I wear them almost every day! I am told that I am stylish many times and I suppose they are a signature look for me. Wear them with pride!

Not too my shoulders but not tiny either, just thin plain gold.

Silver is more my colour but I wear them every day. They only look chavvy (as you put it) if the rest of the outfit is. With regular clothing they are normal.

I have medium size silver ones (gold doesn't really suit me). I think they are nice.

I love my gold hoops. Thin and not massive.

I wear mine with floral midi dresses or a top and jeans.

They only look cheap if they're enormous or too thick (IMO)

Love mine, I have 2 pairs, both gold, one small (1.8cm) from astley clarke and one larger (3.5cm?) from Otiumberg. As a PP said, they are on trend at the moment. I wouldn't wear them any larger though.

Yeah I wear scarfs inside too. They are the same ones I wear out with my coat though

Hoop earrings seem to be pretty in at the moment, there are loads around in places like Mango, Zara eat al.

I live in my Madewell chunky hoops (annoyingly John Lewis seem to have stopped selling them), which are literally the most comfortable earrings I have ever owned and go with everything. They do loads of different styles and sizes and I've just been eyeing up some this morning to ask for for Christmas as it happens!

They're ok. Sometimes a bit bland and I personally admittedly really don't like the large(r), thin hoops.... I just find those so incredibly boring!

And yes I also regularly wear my 'outdoor scarf' indoors...

I cannot wear them for work but I've got some thin gold sleepers , they'd fit midway down my finger , and a tiny gold nose ring that I wear in my 2nd .

I don't like the big hoops at all

they've never been out or in - to me, they are a classic style.

agree with others, its totally about the entire look as to whether they look tacky, on trend or classic.

I wear mine with silk blouses, jeans, pointed court shoes and a high end hand bag as my go to casual night out look.

I think hoop earrings are a classic choice. I am wearing huggie hoops at the moment, my baby son is at the age where he pulls my hair all the time so I can't really wear anything bigger.

It's completely how you style them. I have large heart hoops on right now with a high neck jumper and jeans. It balances out the look really nicely.

I had some on the other day.... my 17 yr old DD looked at me and said
'the bigger the hoop, the bigger the ho'!!

I love them, but only with my hair down. I wear quite big, thick ones most days. I also have triple hoops, which I also love.

I love them. I wear them every day - I have about ten different pairs. I have big curly hair and my hoops look great against it.

Yep I love a hoop earring. Not too big (for me) and always silver for me, but only because gold doesn’t flatter my skin tone.

I have a couple of pairs of small diamond ones in white gold and yellow gold. I have drops to hang from them if I want. I have white gold diamond hoops that are about 2 Cm and gold faceted ones which are quite small but look good. I would avoid creole ones and big ones.

I wear them and they look lovely imo
