Budget makeup that's as good as high end....

Okay I'm a high-end buyer of some stuff- mainly Bobbi Brown, Lancome mascara, and a bit of Nars.

I'm not prepared to give up my high end foundation/ concealer as I'm pale and find best match colours and textures in B Brown and it lasts me months.

But eye shadows and lippy. I adored a Dior 5-eye shadow palette some years ago but cannot bring myself to spend £40 on eye shadow, and I'm even re-thinking B Brown £20 eye shadow.

Is there really any difference between a £1.99 Collection eye shadow and one for £20?

My favourite mascara (beside Lancôme hypnose) is Maybelline lash sensational in intense black. It really is very good and I buy it time and again. The majority of the rest of my makeup is high end, but mascara is one of the things I feel I can save on.

Eye concealer from Aldi is great. I bought 10 about a year ago for both me and DD, lasts for ages, doesn’t dry or flake on application and gives good coverage. I always used the YSL before someone convinced me to try this one.

Although I have and use certain products from highstreet makeup brands, I enjoy using the expensive stuff more, I feel they last better throughout the day.

Maybelline lip inks don't work for me.

Nyx doll eyes mascara is really nice.
