Plum lipstick

I've just dyed my hair a deep, plum colour and I really want a lipstick that matches I'm aware I may end up looking like the living dead. I have had a look at Mac Rebel but I think that may be a bit more purple than I'm after. I want a really deep aubergine shade and preferably in a matte formula.
I'm going into town tomorrow and only have a Boots and Debenhams at my disposal so it needs to be a brand stocked at one of those.
Please help me!

I know Rimmel isn't everyone's favourite but I like it, cheap as chips and it doesn't make me feel like I have 2 inches of Vaseline on my lips. Shade 800 is called Salty and is a deep plum and if you like it you can buy 3 and stash them.

If the Debenhams has a Chanel counter, try "Phenomene" which is also a lovely deep plum but is £££.

My all time favourite plum lipstick was called Perpetual Flame by MAC and it is now discontinued 😭 It looked pink in the tube but went on as a deep fuschia plum colour. I have resolved never ever to fall so deeply in love with a lipstick again that isn't cheap and widely available from Boots!!

Thank you! I will try that Rimmel one. I'm always put off buying Rimmel due to the more functional rather than glamorous packaging but everything I have tried by them has been great.
I'm always wary of Chanel. Everything I have tried has had a really overpowering smell that puts me off. Ditto Ysl. I spent months debating on a Ysl lipstick, finally bought it and found it had a smell reminiscent of alchopops. I used it once and now it sits in the back of my make up draw. I can't bring myself to throw it out.

Maybelline matte lipstick in divine wine here lovely formula, just glides on and lasts all day

Also Brillenbar have you tried the Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks? I love the one you recommended and another one called Glastonbury but she seems to have mixed reviews on here which somewhat puts me off.

@Dylan2608 no I've not tried them and I won't be as it looks like it's made for people whom haven't a clue about make up and want to feel part of something.
