What do you think of it & which one do you use? I’ve read good things about it, not sure which one to try as I’ve noticed they have a few.

Yes the green one as a morning cleanser. I really like Cerave.

applepineapple · 26/10/2019 23:56

Love the hydrating version. Only cleanser I will use now Grin

Haworthia · 26/10/2019 23:56

People rave about the hydrating cleanser but I’m not too keen. It makes my skin feel a bit “coated”. I double cleanse and it doesn’t suit me for a second cleanse, but it’s not oily enough for a first cleanse either.

I like the foaming cleanser though.

escapade1234 · 26/10/2019 23:58

I’m a recent convert and very happy with it. I was recommended it after an outbreak of dermatitis. My skin has been very clear since using it.

I use the foaming for a morning cleanse and like it a lot. I was wondering about trying out the hydrating one but presume it doesn't foam?

Amortentia · 27/10/2019 01:48

I really like the hydrating one, I use it to double cleanse at night then in the shower in the morning. I use Clinique cleansing balm first then use this and finish with either pixi rose toner or glycolic acid before putting on Sarah chapman night serum. I have very dry, sensitive skin but am prone to congestion and this combination works well for me.

Tinks15 · 27/10/2019 06:32

Thanks everyone, which one would be best for me do you think? I have combination skin.
I’ve seen they do one called SA smoothing cleanser would this be any good?

Boots often do 3 for 2 on cerave so maybe try all of them initially. I use the hydrating one because my skin is old and withered with dryness now and it's perfect whereas anything else left my skin taught.

Snazzygoldfish · 27/10/2019 06:49

I use the smoothing one after seeing it on this morning (the shame). It's been absolutely brilliant. I used to have lots of little bumps under the skin and it's totally transformed it.

Tinks15 · 27/10/2019 07:04

‘Snazzygoldfish’ this is currently what I’m suffering with! My skin looks awful! Maybe I should try this first.

Snazzygoldfish · 27/10/2019 08:03

IT worked wonders for me and very quickly too

Tinks15 · 27/10/2019 09:15

snazzygoldfish - do you use am & pm?

OP posts:
Snazzygoldfish · 27/10/2019 10:07

Yes and with no problems however reading comments on here, I may try the hydrating one am & smoothing pm to see how that goes

confusedmaybe · 27/10/2019 10:28

I use the hydrating cleanser. I once moved away from it for a few days while I waited for a delivery to restock. Never again.

ViserionTheDragon · 27/10/2019 10:47

Also use the hydrating cleanser am and pm, my skin is dry. Best cleanser ever and great value for money too.

Tinks15 · 27/10/2019 10:47

I will definitely be ordering some later I think.

Zinnia · 27/10/2019 14:14

If you use the hydrating one - does it foam at all, or is it a milky texture? I like a foam cleanser in the shower but as my skin is getting dryer with age, have been wondering about switching to that version.

Destinesia · 27/10/2019 15:20

I use both the hydrating one and the foaming one.

The hydrating one is a gel cleanser which I remove with a microfibre cloth. It is very similar to the Sam Bunting one.

I use the foaming one in the shower, I don't find it leaves my skin dry or tight.

Lamentations · 27/10/2019 17:56

Zinnia it is the consistency of semen. Don't let that put you off.

Amortentia · 27/10/2019 18:22

Yes, it is 😱 🤣

Tinks15 · 27/10/2019 18:46

Should I maybe order both? The hydrating one for a.m & the smoothing one at night?

OP posts:
Zinnia · 27/10/2019 21:28

🤣 thanks @Lamentations @Amortentia I'll give it a whirl then!

SallieSallow · 27/10/2019 21:34

I’m a big fan of cerave cleansers and use the hydrating one as a second cleanse at night and the foaming one as a morning cleanse, it isn’t very foamy IME and not drying for me though I do have oily/combo skin.

I really rate their facial moisturiser is too, not tried any of the body stuff yet.

Look Fantastic often have deals on cerave so worth checking there as well as Boots.

ElspethFlashman · 27/10/2019 22:34

I have the hydrating one and do like it, though its definitely not a makeup remover, it's lovely as a second cleanse though.

Am intrigued by the SA one.....
