Thin thermal socks?

Any recommendations please.

There are loads online but recommendations always the best. They are a Christmas present so happy to pay a bit more if necessary.

I have some thin silk socks from the ski section in Decathlon, they are amazing and kept my feet toasty last winter, much more so than the thick thermal ones.

Darn Tough Merino are the best socks I've bought.

If you want thin ones go for the 'light' version
