How old are my jeans?

Picked up some BNWT Diesel jeans in the charity shop today for a fiver. The tag indicates that they were originally on sale for £110. How long do you think they might have been sitting in someone's wardrobe for?

They're a wide bottomed style and i suspect could be twenty years old as they're similar to what people were wearing when i was a student, hence why I like them.

None of this matters of course, just idly curious

Wide bottom has been around the last year or two as well though.
How high do they sit? Current ones are higher waisted.

I vaguely remember this being the price when I bought some in 2008.

There are actually a fair few online at around the £130 mark now, so might not be as long ago as you think

@PullingMySocksUp makes a great point - my 2008 pair were very low rise. Almost indecently so 🙈

These are definitely not high waisted, but probably not as low waisted as diesel jeans i had around the year 2000. They sit below my belly button but not by much.
