Make up tutorial

Can anyone recommend a decent online makeup tutorial please - I'm in my fifties and am looking for everyday basic makeup and also for going out.

I tried a few but I just don't look like I'm wearing any makeup - trying to put foundation on with a damp sponge ends up with most of the makeup on the sponge, not on my face.

My go-to recommendation is Lisa Eldridge. She does several tutorials in natural everyday looks and has a wonderful personality as well

Is this along the lines of what you're looking for?

Yes to Lisa Eldridge! Easy to follow, different tutorials and product tips for different skin types etc. Love her!

Thanks I'll give it a look. Most of the ones I found features pouty young things with pneumatic lips Grin

Sped Beauty (Caroline Barnes) or Pampered Wolf are good on YouTube and are aimed at the more mature viewer.
