Can anyone recommend a decent online makeup tutorial please - I'm in my fifties and am looking for everyday basic makeup and also for going out.

I tried a few but I just don't look like I'm wearing any makeup - trying to put foundation on with a damp sponge ends up with most of the makeup on the sponge, not on my face.

My go-to recommendation is Lisa Eldridge. She does several tutorials in natural everyday looks and has a wonderful personality as well

Thanks I'll give it a look. Most of the ones I found features pouty young things with pneumatic lips

Sped Beauty (Caroline Barnes) or Pampered Wolf are good on YouTube and are aimed at the more mature viewer.
