Mulberry Sample Sale - Is it worth it

I've had an invite to the Mulberry Sample Sale which is on next week. I've never been before, but would like a new purse/wallet. Has anyone ever been to one, and if so, what's it like? Are the prices any good and are there stock items, or is it stuff just made for the sale?

It varies. Have been twice. First time I bought a cashmere jumper reduced from £500 to £100 and a lily handbag, reduced but not by as much. Have used both loads. Last one - not much there. If I remember rightly - shoes were the biggest bargain. I have invite for this one. Considering whether to go. Mainly to see if I can get another cashmere jumper!

Thanks Verite1 I have also heard similar on the Mulberry FB group that I'm on. I've booked myself into the evening slot next Friday so I'll decide nearer the time whether I'm going to go.
