How to style Hush harem pants?

Just got some black harems from Hush and I love them so much but am fixed as how to style them? I'm a middle aged Mum so don't want to look too try hard.

Following for tips.

are they the long or short version?

I wear them mostly with a loose-fitting vest top & slouchy jumper or oversized cardigan. Could also wear with a sweatshirt or a t-shirt. A biker jacket & blanket scarf are nice additions when the weather is cooler.

Footwear: flip-flops/sandals in summer; trainers/Converse in autumn/winter.

I’m wearing mine right now, with a slouchy chunky knit jumper.

Thank you, they're the full length version. I don't mind looking casual but don't want to look like I'm on my way to the gym.

I have the full length ones, to be honest I find them quite thin and not very warm so I tend to wear mine as summer trousers. I wear with pumps or sandals and a v neck T-shirt or a cami tucked in.
There are loads of ideas on Pinterest of how to style in the winter though and I like the idea of them with big wooly socks, DM's and a chunky knit, unfortunately the reality for me is they'd be too cold!

Could stick a pair of thermals / tights beneath them for winter.

Long wool coat even, scarf. Voila!

I have the long and short version. I wear them with a slouchy cashmere jumper and white trainers and leather jacket and long scarf in the winter. Agree they aren't actually all that warm, joggers would be a cozier option.

In summer tshirt and birkies. I suspect I do look like I'm going to the gym in them though.

I love these. I actually bought some and then sent them back, because I couldn't justify the price as I didn't think I'd get a lot of wear out of them...

Maybe with erm...and yes, I do wear them...longjohns underneath! Not stylish, but I bet you'd get more wear out of these theough winter, with some longjohns.

Thank you thank you I hadn't thought of wearing them with black ankle boots and a jumper, I love that look.

H&M have got a plain black sweatshirt which I will wear with mine.
