In need of a make up consultation/overhaul

Hi! I’m in need of a total make up overhaul. I’ve previously worn very little so don’t have much experience. I’m thinking of getting a consultation, can anyone recommend the best place to go for this? I’m near Cabot circus in Bristol if that helps (House of fraser, etc).

I don’t mind spending a bit of money (though it be good to try some samples first to make sure I’m buying the right thing!) and I quite like a “natural” look.

Well I’m kind of in a similar position although I’m trying to update my look to natural and polished rather than “ done”. Now you can no doubt pick out individual items that would work from any brand but to start I would get a make over done at Bobbi Brown. Their look is less trendy than other brands and very towards natural - they do great neutral eyeshadows,( a good chubby eyeshadow pencil) lipsticks in a range of naturals & pinks in really creamy formulations . I’ve never had anything bad from there really. It’s expensive though but you might just decide to buy one or two items ( or just splurge obviously).
