Sport Swimsuit Help

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 22/10/2019 10:12

on a weight-loss kick and in need of a well structured sports swimsuit. Im a size 12 and whilst I dont have the biggest boobs (C) I'm sick of the addidas style swimsuits which have no padding and basically show nipple.
All suggestions welcome!

Speedo are expensive but they are in McArthur Glen and had a good sale on last week so may still have? I don't like cross-over straps at back but they seem to do more with ordinary straps now.

I second speedo! DD, no padding but holds them very compact. Haven't noticed nipples

Sports styles won’t have padding as they would increase bulk and drag in the water (swim mum of many years here!).

Look at pro swimwear online which often has sales: Speedo, Maru, Aquasphere or Yingfa are all possibilities.

ohh is that why its impossible to find padding. I just find once you've warn a swimsuit a couple of times the material gets thinner and you can see way too much..
Im almost tempted to bikini to swim as I'd have underwire and some padding. Will check out pro-swim though- thanks

The sports swim suits shouldn’t get thinner- they just need rinsing in cold water each time. No hot water, no soap. Speedo endurance suits last a long time- DS has had them for about 18 months, swimming for 10 hours a week.

Maru do bikini tops which you could put underneath if you want an additional layer around your top.
