Hi
Please can anyone recommend somewhere for me to go for a makeover and make up advice. I’m mid forties and really starting to look old! I have never been great with makeup and don’t spend much on it. Just a bit of foundation and mascara. But I think i need to up my game as my skin is bad, lines are deep and circles under eyes are horrific! So, what brands would you think would be good for a makeover where they won’t patronise me and will be able to help me. Am willing to spend, probably up to mid price make up as I want to get a whole kit. And advice would be much appreciated! Thanks

They don't advertise it much but you can pay £10 in Body Shop for a makeover and then they give you that £10 off any products you buy. Their make up is mid range, there won't be any pressure to buy. Book it ahead of time. They often take their time as they like being off the shop floor/till (me and dd quite often have it done).

I hadn’t thought of the body shop. Good idea! Anyone else have any ideas? Thanks so much
