Midi dress for work

For work I tend to live in either midi dresses or jumpsuits, as they're easy to chuck on.

I want a new animal print midi for the winter, but not one that looks cheap. Any ideas? Asos full of horrible viscose horrors. Warehouse closer but not quite right.

Have you tried Next? I have a few work dresses from there (tall range) and often get compliments, where did you get that etc. There’s a good selection and most are reasonable quality but affordable.

Online has the best selection.

Otherwise if you can get to a John Lewis the Oxford Street branch was crawling with them last week!

Thanks both. Checked Next and couldn't find anything. Was in John Lewis last week and didn't see anything that was quite right either - albeit not the Oxford Street branch!

Have you tried Sosander?

There are a couple of gorgeous ones at Arket, and at Baukjen, even a rather fetching green zebra print at Boden (the Hazel midi dress) (in fact they have leopard print ones called Marie and Lydia as well).

And don't laugh but Monsoon have a rather lush snakeprint one called Kaa () and a gorgeous looking leopard print called Agnes, as well as a couple of others. I am actually tempted to find a Monsoon at lunchtime now, there are some lovely things on their website...

Try Alice Temperley at John Lewis. That said for the price the materials used don't always reflect.

Whistles

Whistles has a green animal print one. It is polyester though...

I think it's really hard to find one that isn't polyester or viscose.
