Help with wedding outfit for petite teen please.

Dd is 14. We have a family wedding in early December.
She is 5ft tall and a size six. She has quite a shapely figure.
We are finding it difficult to find somethings age appropriate to her taste. Her height is a problem in adult sizes but she doesn't have a child's shape.
She doesn't like black or anything too floral.
She quite likes bright blue.
We have looked online at petite ranges in Debenhams, Next, Quiz, Chi Chi without much success.
Budget is around £60.
Any suggestions gratefully received.

New look have a petite section and also appear to cater to her age group much more than the other brands you've mentioned.

You would be unlikely to get anything that will last, but for a one off event it will do.

Equally, Miss Selfridge and TopShop also do petite ranges, but you may want to look online for their better outfits /dress up stuff.

It's quite a formal wedding so need something dressy.

DD is same size and is looking at similar for prom. May have to have it shortened.

Worth a look at ASOS & Nasty Gal (the latter being my personal favourite). I’m 5ft2 so understand the struggle!

I'm only 5'2 myself so I'm used to the length problem but the proportions on regular size clothes are all wrong, in particular the waist and underarms.

Try collectif and gatsby lady. They have lovely classic dresses and cater to size six adult bodies that are not voluptuous.

Thanks everyone. She likes short sleeves rather than sleeveless and skater style. Something quite simple.
I've found a few possibilities on EBay of all places.
I'm going to order the Dorothy Perkins one linked above too.

Also, i really should have mentioned earlier that she won't wear any shade of pink.

This goes up to age 15. It doesnt have sleeves but its a bright blue skater and would be lovely for a wedding. Monsoon.

Another search option is to look for ‘co-ords’ ie a matching skirt and top.

mildly bridal has masses of dresses and colours that can be custom sized for an additional £20. Not tried it myself though.
