Lush dream cream

I suffer from eczema and use prescribed emollients from the doctors, either Oilatum or E45 but it gets a bit bland and boring.

I've heard good things about Lush dream cream but that shop always smells so powerful I just wonder if anything in there can be good for eczema, plus it looks expensive. Any views?

Dream cream doesn’t smell. I have psoriasis and use it, it helps. I keep it in the fridge because when you get that burning feeling from the red raw scratching it’s lovely.

It made no difference to my daughter's ezema.

Didn't help my eczema either.

Put a couple of drops of essential oil in your emollient- something soothing like lavender or rose. Obvs patch test but I suffer with eczema and it’s fine Smile

It genuinely changed my life. I went into Lush in the off-chance with awful eczema everywhere. Nothing worked anymore. I looked like I had full thickness burns on my arms, it was so bad, and I couldn't wear make up on my face. The lady in Lush gave me a massive sample pot to try for free and sent me away, saying we'd sort my body and then if that worked she'd give me samples that might help my face. It took about a month to fully clear, but it did, and it stopped me having to use so much steroid cream that quite frankly had stopped even touching it. That was about 13 years ago. I use it on my four year old DS now, who bless him has skin just like me and gets horrific flare ups on his legs. I think it either works or it doesn't, I'm lucky because it really does.

If you have a lush nearby you I would recommend you go in and ask for a sample
