Sorry for Daily Fail link but I think it’s really stylish and different.

Hideous

emilybrontescorsett · 19/10/2019 21:17

Hmmm it's not to my taste.

user1498572889 · 19/10/2019 21:24

No

Sexnotgender · 19/10/2019 21:28

I like it.

PurpleDaisies · 19/10/2019 21:30

I don’t like the little cape thing but I quite like the dress.

Pixilicious · 19/10/2019 21:31

Love it

snottysystem · 19/10/2019 21:32

I think it's gorgeous

parkersnose · 19/10/2019 21:34

The top bit spoils it for me but I like the skirt part

its a beautiful oscar de la renta! i love it.

raspberryk · 19/10/2019 21:41

God no the brides dress looks like one of those 60's 70's lace table over clothes and looks like the MIL cut an arm hole in the under cloth.

meow1989 · 19/10/2019 21:42

I think I might like it better without the cape thing. In some pictures it looks elegant, in others it looks thick and heavy

imip · 19/10/2019 21:45

I love it and I feel I should book Mark the mother of the groom for 25 years time!

Belindabelle · 19/10/2019 21:48

I love it.

Cupola · 19/10/2019 21:49

I adore that dress

NeverTalksToStrangers · 19/10/2019 21:51

Love it.

raspberryk · 19/10/2019 22:09

I honestly just see this 70's crochet table cloth ... my nana had one which she layered with a plain brown cloth (Mother of the Groom dress)

French toff wedding dress :)

Apart from the ‘fanning’ on the bandeau and wanting the lining to match the length of the skirt, I think it’s absolutely beautiful. One of the best wedding gowns I’ve seen in years.

Classic but modern - a very very tricky balance to establish with a wedding gown.

SinglePringle · 19/10/2019 22:17

Actually, I see the lining does reach the hem so I stand corrected on that.

The only elements of the styling that I would tweak are her ratings (pearl and diamond studs or very small hoops would have worked better with the busy dress) and her shoes - a lower cut on the foot, very pointed court in satin would have been more delicate).

Leflic · 19/10/2019 22:25

Love it. Cool, different and very old fashioned. What’s not to love.

Ikeameatballs · 19/10/2019 22:28

I love it because it’s so different to any other gown I’ve seen recently.

Love the fabric, the cut and the overall look. Not a dress for everyone perhaps but very fitting to their wedding.

Its lovely

CadburysTastesVileNow · 19/10/2019 22:34

It's...

TigerJoy · 19/10/2019 22:36

Gorgeous!

The neckline of the cape doesn't quite work on her - it needs to be a bit more scooped I think. Front on is the least flattering angle but from every other angle it looks absolutely stunning
