MAC Faux - mid pink nude.
MAC Captive - solid plum colour in satin, towards purple, not magenta

grey/brown eyes
very pale skin
dark hair.

Givenchy in guipre. Lovely natural colour. Not the longest lasting but I really like the colour and that it’s not overly perfumed.

I have a gorgeous ysl one as well but can’t wear it as too heavily perfumes.

I’m medium yellow-toned/neutral:

• MAC powder kiss in the chili shade, I use it on my cheeks as well. Only MAC lipstick I’ve liked enough to purchase.

• I also recently found some stock online of my MOST FAVOURITE colour ever, it’s a watermelon pink-red and was discontinued... I’ve never found a shade to dupe it so I’m thrilled now! I can use it in summer but also in the depths of winter to perk up my (sallow) face.

I only wear red lipstick - too lazy for eye makeup other than mascara. I prefer a matte finish.

I have all sorts but do keep on returning to Clinique Almost Lipstick Black Honey.

Mac Ruby Woo. I've never liked red lipstick on me before but this one seems to work. I use the ruby woo liner with it to make my lips more defined. I want to try Russian Red next, I think it will be a good colour for the colder months!

Oh! And Kat Von D double dare (the lipstick not the liquid one) that colour is the easiest colour to wear. I own a couple of them and I will be very upset if it's ever discontinued.

I've recently discovered that L'Oréal lipsticks last well on me and are affordable (ish - I'm usually more of a Collection/Essence person!) I like Paris Cherry (a matte, slightly deep red) as a statement red or Cristal Cappuccino (slightly sparkly pinky brown) for everyday looks. I have ginger hair and a warm skin tone and I haven't found many reds that I like on me, but maybe it's the matte-ness of Paris Cherry that makes it work.
