Can anyone recommend ankle boots that are snug around the ankle please - any colour/style considered? I want to wear them with dresses and skirts. I have birdy ankles. Thanks.

I’m the same!

These have a neat ankle but pricey

I do wear traditional docmartens and for some reason these don’t make my legs look silly.
But if I wear those on trend hiker things, like grenson, I look god awful.

Apologies I think I linked you a men’s boot!
Here is the women’s

Would love to find some too.

And in true CF style, I’d like to add an ‘unfussy/non-clumpy’ requirement please. I’m skinny legged, and also a short arse.

Oh they niiice Music!

Sock boots? I keep seeing them mentioned on here, but have never owned any!

I got a pair from M and Co recently. They are navy with a turnover cuff top and look great with dresses.

Poppyfields21 · 19/10/2019 15:00

Definitely sock boots!

Sock boots are great, I love the look but they seem to be disappearing fast.
&other stories was a good source for them, patent,,suede, leather, flat and heeled. But they seem to be a trend that has moved on - sadly.
