Adult Damon braces - yellow teeth!

Hi! I had braces fitted in April, they are the clear train track type.

I’ve seen the hygienist recently but my teeth still look much yellower than before I had the braces. My orthodontist said it’s the stuff they coat your teeth with before they stick the brackets on, it’s porous so absorbs stains apparently?

It’s so annoying, has anyone found a way to whiten their teeth whilst having braces?

How long are the braces on for? Might need to just put up with it until they're off and then have whitening

Avoid curry! Tumeric really stains that coating, when the braces are removed it can all be polished off so not all bad!

My teeth were considerably yellower after train track braces, so much so that I had to get them professionally whitened (laser type thingy followed by the gel and moulds)afterwards. My teeth were seven shades whiter after that, and they look great. Maybe this is something you could look into.
