Flat, chunky black boots

I’m looking for some flat, chunky black boots to wear with mini skirts. Don’t mind if they are knee boots or ankle boots (just not trainers)!

Any recommendations, has anyone seen some nice ones anywhere?

Docs? They do a soft leather version that don't need much breaking in.

DMs. Expensive but they last forever. Currently breaking in a pair (owwww!) but it’ll be worth it when they’re comfy.

If you search for Biker boots you might find the sort of thing you’re after? I found some by Heavenly Soles online last year that are utterly perfect, comfy and so many compliments on them. Good luck!

If on a budget primary have two gorgeous pairs.

One dm style but with a zip on the inside so no fiddly lacing and other than they aren’t real leather I prefer the look of them to dm and the other pair had straps across the laces with studs on.
I’ve not been able to get either pair in my size though

DMs. Something like the Emmeline is a little bit chunky without looking too stompy.
