I have tried curly girl and it did absolutely nothing for me.

I have long (bra strap length) wavy/nearly curly hair that is one big ball of frizz. I have regular trims so it’s in good shape.

I need a product, tool, regime or something to help combat this frizz! I don’t have a lot of time to spend on my hair, as I have a 2 year old hanging off my ankles usually. But I’m sick of looking unkempt and just want to be polished for work without getting up 6 hours early.

Any advice?

When I came back from holiday my hair was the same length as yours. I was conditioning it loads and it was having little effect. I asked the hairdresser to chop it to shoulder length so I could start again as it was so frazzled from too much sun and sea. Do you colour your hair op? Is your hair sun damaged after the summer? If so I recommend getting it chopped and starting again. It was layered before and now looks better being on people length, less straggly. What products do you use currently and do you straighten?

Sorry op ‘being on people’ means one length, god knows how that happened.

I have a revlon volumiser/hairdryer and its the best thing I have ever bought for my hair.
Mine is long, think and curly and this dries and smooths at the same time. Dries really quickly as well.

Is it your shampoo and conditioner? Do they need changing?

omikron · 17/10/2019 13:19

Do the Brazilian blowdry from amazon

Can you post a pic ?

May be try a simplified curly girl. Really basic, one conditioner and one styling product. I'd get a load chopped off too.

Get pantene repair and care shampoo and conditioner, secret holy grail of 4c'ers on YouTube and in RL

When mine gets really bad, I wash it once a week, but wet it every morning in the shower, condition, rinse and then squeeze it out and run a small blob of conditioner through the length, comb it through and leave it in. Really works. Had mine cut off last year and it’s much easier, but I look like my Mum and that is awful.
