At most red carpet events and other public photo events, so many female celebrities wear strappy sandals. They rarely have nice feet (let's face it who does! feet are not nice generally) and I think it usually spoils a look that would have been super elegant with a nice court shoe heel.
It's so prevalent that I'm assuming that it must be something that men find attractive otherwise it wouldn't be so popular for women at these kind of styled events. What is it? Is it that bare feet are vulnerable? Does this overcome the site of a few buninions or veins or bad tattoos?
Jennifer Aniston is a good example of this and her feet aren't actually that bad. In almost all of these pictures, the look would be much more elegant without the sandals and more concealed feet.
Do men really like this look? I don't get it at all.
