Make-up Bag for Everyday Essentials

KatyCarrCan · 15/10/2019 00:21

The zip on my make-up bag has finally broken so I'm looking for a new one. It's to fit in my handbag and hold daily essentials eg lipstick, mascara, mini blusher, etc.
My last one was quite basic but I'm looking for something more interesting/pretty this time.

I like leather make up bags so I've had ones from TKMaxx (mandarin duck and others) and American apparel
I usually have 2 with identical contents so have one nice one and one I keep in the car usually use car one as I'm late

I relate to having one in the car for when you're late. That's me too! Although I'm not organised enough to have identical contents at home and in the car - which is frustrating when I realise the item I want is at home rather than out with me.
I have a gift to return to TKMaxx so I'll have a look when I'm in. I never thought of trying there. Thanks for the tip.

Saw this one recommended on a beauty site and ordered it.

Bit pricy as you're ordering from the US, but it's well-made and looks great. I get a ton of compliments whenever I bring it out at work.

@breakfastpizza that's very pretty and practical.
It reminds me a bit of the Trish McEvoy ones - which I love. But I can't justify spending over £100 on a Trish McEvoy makeup bag (no matter how beautiful) when I don't even know what the pre-packed makeup is like.
