Dress for christening

Having DC christened in December.

Not a bloody clue what to wear, any tips?

5’11, size 12-14 (depending on store) have a newly gained mum-tum (with a lovely c-section flap to boot) that I would like to hide/flatter.

I like navy’s, plums, greens etc. Need to have shoulders covered but not long sleeve (I’m sweaty) and prefer a midi style to maxi.

Budget £100-£150.

Please help??

Right there with you! I have a c section tum and was really stressed about getting a dress for DDs christening.

M&S saved the day! They had lots of flowy dresses that covered everything up. They seem a little casual but dressed up quite well with a fascinator and heels. Zara also had some lovely dresses.

Thanks Kirsty! Will have a look on M&S - I’m just struggling with ideas Sad

Are you doing it as part of the normal service or seperately? (just so I know what to suggest, as when people do it seperately they tend to go smarter)

It’s separately and yes I would like to look somewhat smart - similar to going to a wedding style.

I also found a smart midi dress from Dorothy Perkins that comes in green, berry, and navy but I can't get the link to work
