What are the best trainers right now?

So I was thinking of buying a Veja pair but now I'm wondering if they are a bit, errr, past it? I've seen a lot of people in them and although I do still like them, just wondering what other ones I should be looking at now to keep up with fashion. Feeling very frumpy these days and no longer living in London so don't feel I know what's current any more!

This question makes me sad.... I don’t think there is one trainer that you should wear right now... and if there was I would be inclined to avoid it since it will be out of fashion in five minutes. That being said I like to look at the trainers at & Other Stories because they have a nice edited collection rather than millions. They’ve got lots of chunky looking “ dad” trainers still so maybe have a look and choose a colour-way that’s actually going to fit with your wardrobe and forget the brand slightly.
