Spanx Sizing

I'm a size 10 with a big wobbly mumtum. Any advice on Spanx sizing?

No size 10 has a big mum tum.

Real Spanx are accurately sized, incredibly, IME - just pick your height and weight from the chart and they'll do you proud.

Not that you need them Grin

Thank you, I really have though.
I seem to put weight on around my middle and nowhere else at the moment.
I've got a event that I want to wear something a bit slinky to but my tummy makes me so self conscious

Erm @Supersimkin2 a size 10 is very different for a 5 footer than it is an almost 6 footer. Its quite possible to have a mumtum and be a size 10. I've lost almost 3 stone and I'm about a size 10 at 5'9" yet I'd still say I have a mum tum as my stomach is not toned.

RandomWordsandaNumber5 · 12/10/2019 21:33

Good advice I was given with Spanx is to wear the size that you are, not the size that you want to be.

I'm 5.1 size 8-10 I got a size small. They are fab

managedmis · 13/10/2019 00:44

Yeah, I'm a 10 too and honestly spanx made all the difference to my csection tum in a Christmas dress, I got medium sized. They really, really flatten your belly, miraculous. You can't see the shelf at all.

Happyandglorious · 13/10/2019 05:52

@managedmis "shelf" made me smile and heave at the same time

whatatool · 13/10/2019 09:44

@managedmis this is exactly my problem. Which ones sis you get?

These. But they aren't thongs, they're full back, as it were. Totally worth the money. I wear them with pencil skirts too, anything slim fitting really.
