Hair removal

Sorry if this has been asked a million times before but I'm wondering if anyone has experience of laser hair removal in a salon if your hair has a bit of a red tint?
My skin is quite pale but body hair is kind of in between dark blonde and some definitely has a more reddish look to it.
I suffer from a lot of facial hair which I've been shaving for years which just makes me feel like crap and would love to just get rid of it. I tried the Lumea but had no joy with it.
Anyone have any stories of hope?

Would electrolysis work better? Find a good salon offering this service and ask their opinion. Good luck and hope you find a solution.

Thanks Branster, that's a great idea.

It’s not cheap. A friend of mine treated her upper lip over 2 or 3 sessions about £200. She is fair so light skin and the hairs in question were sort of darker blonde but not dark brown or white blonde either (I personally never noticed she had an issue but it was visible to her and she is very happy with the results) so hopefully it will work for you. She was told she must wear high SPF after treatments as it can cause hyperpigmentation.

I don’t know anything about lasers so if you investigate that avenue please be careful to ask for information from a very good salon as it is strong stuff.

Good luck!

Has anyone bought one of the (expensive) do-it-yourself ones and, if so, was it effective?
