Recomendations for a stylish yet practical coat please

Hi all
I have a seasalt jannelle which i love for its practicality it is however 2 sizes too big & very unflattering on. My DP HATES it. So im after something as practical but a bit more flattering if possible. Im 5ft4 size 14, curvy, help!!

Hope I am not hijacking your thread but I am struggling to find a balance of warm, stylish and practical when it comes to coats. I do an office job but sometimes have to go out and about and I find that a lot of coats that look good just aren't very warm in the depths of winter. Hoping someone has some good suggestions for you.

What’s your budget? And does it have to be 100% waterproof?
