Anything better than a Nu Face

princessTiasmum · 10/10/2019 17:40

I have a nu face for my jowls mainly but it doesn't seem to do much good really,i have had one before and got rid of it then thought i would try again, use it regularly too
Thinking of trying the new iron one shown on QVC recently has anyone got one,it might be just a different version of some other gadget,it is shaped like an iron, can be used on face and body
Anyone?

Face exercises- I have the nuface too and I think it makes a very tiny, subtle difference. Whereas FE make a dramatic change - if you put the effort in. I’ve posted on them b4 if you want to search for links to examples of free exercises

I've just bought a dermawand. It seems to be working, but maybe that's just the placebo effect?! In any case, it's very well reviewed and not quite as expensive (£100-ish) as the nu face.

I use a nuface and the trick for me is to just ignore the instructions and sit and watch a tv program while doing it.
I use aloe Vera gel and literally massage my face for 30 mins 😀

I have had a dermawand ,didn't think much of it as to any results.
I have got a lightstim similiar to a deramawand but not radio frequency, but more like the led masks, which i liked and seemed to make a difference ,my daughter said she noticed a difference in my skin and ordered one for herself
I am sending the lightstim back as it should get warm and it doesn't ,
I am also now doing facial exercises, mainly for jowls
The aloe vera seems to make my skin look course when i use the nu face
Maybe i'm flogging a dead horse lol

Hi Princess, that’s good u r doing face exercises. Eva fraser’s Lower Facelift exercise worked wonders on my jowels and plumping my cheeks - i noticed a big difference after a month of doing just that exercise about 20 times a day. Only after that did I start doing other exercises. The one device I’m interested in hearing about is the Tripollar Stop. I’ve heard quite good reviews about it but it is quite expensive - and I already hav the nuface.

ZIIP is better than Nuface. I have both and haven't used Nuface since i bought the ZIIP. ZIIP is fantastically expensive though... I picked up one on Ebay which was a steal at £50.
As great as it is... i still use filler.

princessTiasmum · 13/10/2019 11:33

BlackSwan i think i have seen your mention of the ZIIP before but i cant find anything about it, are you in the US maybe can't get it in the UK?

I'm in the uk. You can buy it from cult beauty here CultBeauty
It certainly feels like it does something. Prefer owning this than going somewhere like the facegym. I also bought a hand held LED thing after a course of LED treatments at a spa. They make you glow.

BlackSwan · 13/10/2019 13:57

The LED device I got is called LightStim. I like it but I'm sure the full face ones are better.

princessTiasmum · 13/10/2019 14:09

Blackswan that is what i have just bought, i have had a lightstim before and it does give you a rosy glow
I have also got an LED mask which does the same thing, but with the mask you need to sit and hold it over your face with the lightstim i can sit and watch TV or read etc
I should have read your full post,i will go back and look at the link now
Really it only the jowls and neck that i'm bothered about the rest is ok Smile

Which full face one did you get? I like the look of the Dennis Gross one.

princessTiasmum · 13/10/2019 19:09

I can't remember to be honest,it wasn't expensive and i got from ebay, but it did make my skin look better, my daughter saw me just a couple of days after i first used it and bought herself one she was so impressed
I haven't used it for ages,it's just having to sit in one place and hold it on,although it has a strap to hold it on,it still slips a bit, and i have a small face
