So simple but...clear mascaras?

Any recommendations? As simple as they seem I'm sure there must be some that are better than others!

What do clear mascaras actually do/achieve? Sorry to hijack thread!!

I'd love a good one.

I have very black thick eyelashes but would like some definition without the gooey feeling and colour

Why don't you put on mascara and then run a spooly over your lashes? I do that. It makes the obvious mascara look less noticeable, but lashes look better.

Last time I bought some it was a budget and around £2.

Personally I used it to tame my slightly unruly eyebrows back when thicker brows were really not fashionable. Mine are black naturally so a hair out if place is obvious!

I use a collection 2000 one, always have. It feels more like a gel. I use it on my eyebrows.

This seems pretty decent!

Another vote for the Collection 2000 one, use it on my eyebrows and it keeps them in place.

Sometimes, on trips to the gym, I use it on my lashes too, after using eyelash curlers (my lashes are dyed black). It holds the curl and gives my lashes more definition and separation.
