Autumn dresses to wear with black opaques

FTM, baby is 8 weeks old. Looking for some comfortable but stylish dresses to wear this autumn with tights, need some easy quick no fuss outfits. Visiting family for the first time since having baby in a couple of weeks and would like to look good (not jeans etc if poss). I was an 8 before baby, probably a 10 now and with a baby bump which hasn't quite gone down yet :-) Any ideas? Preferably dresses I can order online!

What kind of dresses? Maxi/midi/short? Plain/pattered/floral? Budget?? What's your usual style/colours/go-to shops? There is a huge amount out there...

Are you still breastfeeding? Seraphine do some lovely dresses with easy access to boobs

Preferably short as I'm not the tallest, around 5 feet 3. I guess I usually stick to high street...Zara, Jigsaw, Whistles but I haven't bought dresses in ages so not sure where has good ones at the mo. I'm open to colours, patterns etc, I'd say my style is quite simple and classic and usually block colours rather than patterns but I'm open minded :-) If poss would like something not polyester...having a look on asos at the mo as easy delivery and everything seems to be polyester!

I thought these looked quite pretty but they are polyester...

Will probably wear the dresses with flat black Chelsea boots

Sorry if I've missed the mark...

This isn't "pretty" but it's very comfy and cosy (despite short sleeves) because of the fabric and It's very flattering. I've been wearing it with opaques and boots. They do have prettier in their range.

Thanks StCharlotte, looks really nice! I think maybe the only reason I wouldn't try it is the short sleeves! I'm a wimp with the cold :-) Looks comfy though!

Have you looked at Popsy dresses? Some of the designs are a bit out there but they are comfy and a good price. I love them!

The Asos dress is pretty.
I bought this dress from Massimo yesterday. I have always hated paisley in the past but this is lovely on. Quite long (I'm 5'6"). I'll wear it with a biker, or a blazer, or a jumper on the colder days. I'm a size 8 to 10 and bought the 8.I plan to put a slit over one leg to break it up a bit.

I wear these with leggings and ankle boots. Really comfy

Thanks championquartz! I dont think I would be able to pull that off as I'm not very tall :-)

L8toys thank you! These look promising and not polyester!
