Washing Kipling handbags

I've just bought a Kipling handbag but there are no cleaning instructions on it. Can you put them in the washing machine?

I have and they were fine.

Likewise. Bought a pale grey one in a charity shop and machine washed fine. Put inside a pillowcase to protect the hardware a bit.

I have a collection, all been washed and are great. I wash on 30 degrees quick wash 👍

I highly doubt it!!! Email them to be sure, but I should imagine even handwashing wouldn't do it any good, not if it's the same material as mine.

I wash mine on a 30 degree wash with liquid rather than powder and tied in a pillowcase.

Ok, I stand corrected!! I had a scary moment when I came back from holiday and found a cheap plastic washbag had melted in my suitcase! It ruined a brand new top but thank God didn't get on my Kipling bag.

Yes, always in the washing machine on 30 degrees. I've got several, they still look like new after lots of washes.

Yep. A pen leaked in mine and I bunged it in the wash. Came out fine.

Thanks for your replies. The colour of my bag is black with very light white flecks in it but the inside is beige so may show the dirt quicker. The bag is lovely and light though, first time I've had one.

I do mine on 40 degrees and have washed it loads, it's fine.

The care label says don't wash, but they wash absolutely fine. I always go for a gentle 30 wash.

Always washed DD's on a 30 degree cycle, inside out, and they've been fine.
