Styling long cardigans - with photo!

I bought a b/w vertical, striped mid thigh-length cardi, quiet fitted around the shoulders and arms, and also a khaki green wool one that hangs quite straight down to mid thigh. I haven't worn long cardis before. What sort of top would look good with them? The B/W one in the photo is not the same one; mine is striped all the way across. But that kind of shape.

I have a similar khaki long cardigan that I either style with a black cami with a bit lace at the top, skinny jeans and boots or with a black t shirt cropped, mom jeans and trainers.

I’d go for a white t - any shape, possibly slogan, with leather leggings.
