I have very long wavy hair that isn't colour nor heat treated however it is damaged due to the length, any recommendations that won't break the bank?

Thanks in advance! Smile

What have you been using up until now?

MrsCBM · 07/10/2019 20:56

Loreal dream lengths and Maui agave strength before that Smile

I use a cheap shampoo (the 99p Alberto balsam coconut one) and then a mid range conditioner

Pancakeflipper · 07/10/2019 20:59

I am liking Kind Natured, can get at Boots.
About £5. Free from the nasties, suitable for begans.

Pancakeflipper · 07/10/2019 21:00

Vegans not begans... Doh

PhantomErik · 07/10/2019 21:19

There's a 2 in 1 from Aldi that's in a white & blue bottle that's surprisingly good!

Sunshinegirl82 · 07/10/2019 22:55

Dove is the best I've found.

TeaAddict235 · 08/10/2019 06:11

Another one for Dove, especially the Nourishing secrets avocado.

Or Good old Pantene. My hair looks the bees knees when I use it. Repair and something . Only ever buy them on offer. 2 for £4 or something.

MrsCBM · 08/10/2019 10:41

@Pancakeflipper I never knew about this brand, has it replaced the Naked brand do you know?

I had completely forgotten about Dove, I'll have a look in the supermarket.

Thanks everyone!

Aussie. Always on offer

Knowivedonewrong · 08/10/2019 13:23

Phil Smith Cocolious. Sainsburys sell it or you buy online.

CTRL · 08/10/2019 13:25

What about tresseme?

I’m sure Poundland do both shampoo and conditioner for £1 each

thebakerwithboobs · 08/10/2019 13:30

Dove is really surprisingly good.

Wilmalovescake · 08/10/2019 13:33

Put some coconut oil on the bottom half of it before bed; put it up and leave it overnight.

milliefiori · 08/10/2019 13:35

I love Head and Shoulders 2-in-1 apple. It leaves hair really soft and bouncy - doesn't strip its oils but does give great body, Smells good and is not pricey.

BikeRunSki · 08/10/2019 13:36

Alberto Balsam pink stuff - raspberry I think - £1. Excellent, regardless of price.

ChicCroissant · 08/10/2019 13:37

I think I bought the Alberto Balsam raspberry conditioner last time, my DD has long hair and uses it by the gallon - really suits her hair though!

Lidl have their own version of Aussie haircare which isn't bad, not quite as good as the original though.

The Aldi two in one is great!

MrsCBM · 08/10/2019 15:54

I tend to use a hair mask instead of conditioner tbh, I wash it every other day but I'm about to have a trim and I've been using a Maui Strength shampoo and Loreal Dream Lengths mask. I need quite a thick, super hydrating mask/conditioner please!

@Wilmalovescake I still use that, it saved my hair after bleaching it several years ago! I leave it on the mid lengths and down and then shampoo off after a few hours - last time I slept in I got spots as it just wouldn't stay up! Hmm

No Aldi by us so something available from the big 4 supermarkets would be best!
