Best dry shampoo for dark hair?

I've tried a few but even the ones for dark hair make my hair look grey and saps all the shine out of my hair. Is there a solution or am I searching for something that doesn't exist?

are you sure you are brushing them out properly? I have dark hair and use normal non-dark hair dry shampoo (Batiste is a good brand) and brush it out properly, much prefer it to the dark ones I tried which left gunky mess! I've stopped using all dry shampoo now and replaced with plain old cornflour in a little shaker thing. Exactly the same and miles cheaper - just again make sure you brush it out properly.

You have a point, maybe I'm not? I use dry shampoo to add texture to my fine hair. I spray, rub it in and brush but maybe I'm not brushing enough. I will try again, thanks

Hmm I've always wondered this and yes, the dark ones are horrible. I don't brush mine out, I rub it with a towel and it takes ages and I still get caught out, with the odd, misses grey patch.

I would think brushing it wouldn't be as effective, but maybe I'm wrong.

*missed

The got 2 be dry shampoo (blue packaging) is amazing, leaves no residue/flakes bits, but if it's for texture wouldn't you be better with root dust?

I use Aussie it's fine just rub it. In and brush through if you are getting residue you are maybe using too much

Same OP, I hate it so much I mostly don't use it- the batiste one smells awful and feels so chalky.

The only thing I've found helpful is making sure I'm holding it far away from my head when I spray so it distributes more finely , then I literally rub it in as though I'm massaging in shampoo and keep going until it feels normal, then brush through.

I just batiste - spray, leave for a few mins then rub with towel
