Uniqlo trouser fitting/sizing help

I'm looking at some trousers on Uniqlo and one comment says "as usual they are too big" but it doesnt elaborate. The trouser sixes are given as 25", 26" and so on. Re waist size. How accurate is that sizing in your experience? So, if my waist measures 27" but my hips are 37" is it likely that a 27" waist label will fit me?

I should just ask Uniqlo, shouldn't I?!

I have jeans from there and they’re pretty true to size but if anything their stuff tends to run small so I wouldn’t size down based on 1 review. A 26 is usually equivalent to a U.K. 8, a 27 would be an 8-10.
