tops for those long in the body.

Can anyone help me find tops that are really long in the body. I have disproportionately short legs and a long body and I struggle to find thinga which cover my bum. Are there any labels good for this?

Long Tall Sally and Hush both do good ones.

Be aware of Hush shirts shrinking, I have a lovely one that shrank by over an inch in length the first time I washed it.

Blodwyn, i too have a long body and my advice would be - get a highwaisted pair of jeans/trousers/skirt. that way you'll lengthen you legs, and you'll have a better choice among regular length tops!
Actually, most of the "high-waisted" jeans or trousers sit below my navel anyway, but it helps to make my body look more proportionate.

ASOS, Topshop, Gap, New Look & Zalando all have tall ranges, Boden claim to but just lengthen the item leaving all the pockets/details exactly the same as the regular sizes which makes them look odd!

I mainly rely on these enormously long vests, which on me just look like an ordinary vest, and then wear another top over them.

French Connection, All Saints, and older Me & Em are all cut longer in the body. Hush are sometimes long enough but tbh I mainly find them hovering around my waist (which is about a mile above my waistband). I I have some shirts and a coat from Joseph that fit amazingly but obviously £££ ridiculous money.

Tall ranges I don't rate: Long Tall Sally never found anything there that didn't make me look a hundred years old. Topshop Tall somehow the tshirts swing off my boobs like they've had an argument with my torso. Agree with PP about Boden -- pockets on your collarbone!

Also River Island do actually high waisted trousers but unfortunately they are all horrible. Swings and roundabouts.

Thank you, some really good sites to look at. Absinthfox you're right but I have such a mum tum I like to keep it as covered as possible!
