Aigle kids wellies

My old cheap colourful wellies have lasted years, but have never been comfy and are now letting rain in. I read good things on here about the quality of Aigle wellies. On Amazon a lot of their kids wellies go up to my size and are £30-40, a lot cheaper than the adult ones... Any reason I should avoid?

Are the legs long enough?

I’ve never had their wellies but quite a few pairs of their riding boots (as a child/teen) - the rubber/ non leather type and they were ok. Lasted fine and didn’t let in water. I would think their wellies would be similar. The problem with cheaper wellies though is they are much of the same quality wise as they are made from cheap plastic. The reason brands like hunter are so highly praised are because they are made from tyre quality rubber so they last longer, feel more comfortable and ware warmer. That said the quality of hunter has gone way down over the years as they became fashionable pretty frustrating as the price has gone up. They used to be a great practical welly for the yard but now they couldn’t withstand the abuse of that as they are much thinner than years ago. One clip of a muck fork and it would puncture right through now.

I have several pairs, I love them because they are very slim fitting.

I have very slim calves, not sure the children’s would fit, if they are shorter and I guess even slimmer.

They are often on amazon reduced.

My children had them but I think they are shorter and would not be flattering on an adult.

Ah, I don’t have particularly slim calves so that could be a problem if even the adult ones are slim

Make sure you get the neoprene lined version for warmth.
