Are All Saints leather jackets worth it?

Got my eye on one in the sale, but it's still expensive for me. (I really want it though)

YES. Beautiful leather and wear well. Mango have beautiful leather jackets too that are more reasonably priced; you may find one you love in there but for less £.

They’re good jackets but quite thick and heavy and cumbersome. So it depends if you like them that way or not. I prefer mine on the softer side, and All Saints designs often have too much hardware for my liking. But that’s down to personal preference of course.

Bear in mind that unless you want it to end up being oversized, they recommend sizing down.

Also if you want to save yourself some serious money it’s often a good idea to have a look on eBay. You can pick up new or virtually new ones for a much keener price. Depends on whether or not you are lusting after a particular model, of course.

I was trying some on today and they do feel beautiful. Too expensive for me too though so I've bought one on Depop. Still not cheap but a decent saving. Just hope it's as nice as it looked in the pics!

Give Boda Skins a look, fantastic and Manchester based company.

It's this one. I've been looking at ebay, but they seem quite pricey for 2nd hand, and I do like this colour, a change from the usual black.

That’s lovely. I have the same in an ink blue colour. I have really enjoyed wearing it and the leather is something else.

That’s beautiful. If you know it’s what you want and you love the design and colour then yes, it’s worth the money.

Enjoy!

I’m selling mine though- I’ve put on weight (and now have boobs) it looked better on me flat chested!! They are seriously beautiful though! Buy it and enjoy it for years!

I’ve got a Muubaa leather jacket in a burnt orange colour and it’s great for being just that little bit different!

Ninkaninus · 06/10/2019 20:04

@zippyswife I got rid of 6 leather/suede jackets earlier this year because I was really going to have to work too hard to go down the two sizes to fit them again.

I bought one about 5 years ago. It has faded soooo much. It’s very soft but now quite saggy. The fadedness is quite nice in a way but I’d like to get it back to black. Not sure if worth the huge cost.

I got mine at 30% a couple of years ago (Bales) and do love it, but I keep clothes for YEARS zap I didn’t feel guilty about passing on my ancient Gap one and splashing out on it. I probably only wear it twice a month but it looks great on and goes with a lot of stuff, and whenever I wear it I’m always glad I bought it!
