I am looking for a perfume with a not so sweet floral aroma.
I do like Roses but unfortunately the musky scents don't suit me it needs to be fresh.
I used to have Chanel no5, but it's too sweet now.
I could just do with a short list to take to the shops with me. There are so many and you can't tell what's what if you have to sniff/spray them all.
many tia

For sophisticated florals, try the Aqua Allegoria range by Guerlain. Hermes also dona range of garden perfumes, “Une Jardin” etc. Some of these are outstanding and not girly. Guerlain Jardins de Bagatelle is also interesting as is Lumiere Doree by Miller Harris. Go for something different and have a look at All Beauty to save money!

As a perfume blogger, I really recommend the Perfume Society Discovery Boxes. They have a good selection of samples that you can trust home until you find something you like. You might be surprised. Not all florals are sweet, it's usually what they're partnered with. Also not all musks are musky! You find a beautiful quiet laundry musk that you like.
