Tunic dresses

I had major surgery two weeks ago. I’m starting to think about what I will be able to wear once I’m able to ditch my pj bottoms that I am living in at the moment. Which aren’t a problem as I haven’t left the house yet.

Jeans or tights will be too painful, but I have some soft leggings that I think will be ideal. Can anybody recommend some elegant looking tunic tops/dresses that would go with leggings. I have a couple from Whitestuff that are nice and I quite like some in Boden, but could really do with some inspiration!! Something that doesn’t look frumpy. I live rurally so don’t need to be very dressed up, but would like to look nice.

TIA

I like nomads and seasalt.

Have a look at Cos and Asos, especially at the dresses that are too short to be worn alone unless you're 18 and in a beach resort/club. Lots of them work well as tunics.

Thank you both, will take a look Smile

For a cheaper option, H&M tend to do a few staple tunic/loose shift dresses every autumn/winter. I have ones from last year in black, charcoal and dark red that are comfortable and forgiving worn with tights or in your case leggings.

Fat Face often have nice tunic dresses. I have one that never fails to get admiring comments. And it's great for wearing with a thermal long sleeve top under in winter. M&S thermal leggings are lovely and soft, btw.

Nomads Clothing have a good choice including organic cotton jersey, cord shift dresses and a couple of cotton jumper dresses- not the cheapest but all fair trade. Also Thought Clothing worth a look - also ethically produced.
